Charlie’s Acres Farm Animal Sanctuary was invited to participate in Airbnb’s launch of Virtual Experiences in April 2020 in response to the COVID-19 lockdown. I wrote the program and served as the lead host, providing virtual tours that connected people during social distancing. Due to the program’s overwhelming success, I trained and hired additional tour guides. We reached participants in over 20 countries, including embassies, orphanages, first responders, and families, offering a unique and meaningful global experience.
Throughout this program, we hosted over 1,000 virtual tours for participants in over 20 countries.
