To enhance the visitor experience at Charlie’s Acres, I designed pathway signs that complemented the guided tours. These signs highlighted key takeaways at each station, provided additional information not always covered in tours, and encouraged further conversation and inquiry. While most visitors experienced guided tours, these signs proved invaluable during larger events where guests could freely roam the sanctuary with volunteer docents stationed throughout the path. By offering accessible and engaging information, the signs enriched both guided and self-guided experiences, deepening visitors’ understanding of the sanctuary’s mission.
